Bhupindra International Public School (BIPS), Patiala operates a well-organized and secure transport network that serves the daily travel needs of over 1200 students from Pre-Primary to Class XII. 

The school understands that a child’s journey to and from school is an important part of the day. For this reason, BIPS has implemented multiple safety systems, trained staff supervision and real-time technology to ensure that students travel comfortably and securely.

Our transport system is designed to provide convenience for parents and complete safety for children.

Student safety is the highest priority in the BIPS transport system. Each school bus is equipped with multiple safety measures, including:

  • Individual seat belts for every child
  • CCTV cameras installed inside the buses 
  • GPS tracking for real-time monitoring 
  • Experienced and trained drivers 
  • Well-maintained buses with regular safety checks

These features ensure that every student travels in a safe and supervised environment.

Every BIPS bus has at least one female attendant responsible for supervising students during travel.

Depending on the route and age group of children, attendants may include:

  • Teacher
  • Lady Guard
  • Aiya (caregiver)

In some buses, more than one female attendant may be present to ensure additional supervision and care.

Real-Time Bus Tracking 
for Parents

All school buses are equipped with GPS tracking hardware.
Parents can track the real-time location of the bus using a free mobile application, allowing them to know exactly when the bus is approaching their stop.

This system helps parents plan pickups and ensures complete transparency in the transport process.

RFID Student Tracking System

To further enhance safety, BIPS buses use RFID scanning technology. 
When a child boards or exits the bus:

  • The RFID scanner automatically records the event
  • The information is instantly updated in the system

This technology ensures accurate monitoring of every student's movement.

Instant Notifications 
to Parents

BIPS uses the SchoolPad communication platform to send real-time alerts to parents. 

Parents receive notifications when their child:

  • Boards the school bus 
  • Deboards at school 
  • Boards the bus for the return journey 
  • Deboards at their designated stop

These instant alerts provide parents with peace of mind and full visibility of their child’s journey.
