BIPS MUN

BIPS MUN has become a cornerstone of our academic calendar, creating a dynamic and inclusive space for learning, debate, research, public speaking and negotiation. Our Model United Nations offers delegates a unique opportunity to engage deeply with global issues and international relations, helping them refine their perspectives and skills.

This year’s event was particularly significant as we welcomed delegates from various external schools, including some schools from other cities and states. Their participation enriched the conference, adding new dimensions and reflecting our commitment to inclusion.

Our theme, “Dialogue Pas La Guerre,”a French phrase that translates to ‘Dialogue, not war’ or 'Talk instead of fighting' . It celebrates and promotes the idea that conflicts should be resolved through- communication, negotiation, diplomacy rather than heated arguments. It emphasises peaceful problem solving over conflict. .

As we stand on the brink of a new era, we are more aware of the tools we have to shape a bright and promising future through collective strength, unity and determination. The conference featured a diverse range of committees and agendas, from the UNHRC to the UNGA.

This year, BIPS MUN proudly partnered with good organisations further elevating the event’s profile. We have been honoured to have distinguished guests, including SSP Mr Palwinder Cheema, Olympic Champion of India who shared insights from his 20 years of service in the police. He offered his perspectives on diplomacy and foreign services.

As a student-led conference, BIPS MUNs have fostered diverse perspectives, enriching the educational experience and equipping delegates to become informed, engaged and compassionate global citizens. It has been a perfect blend of drama, debate and enjoyable learning, leaving a lasting impact on all who participated.
